AGENDA:

1. New Databases Unveiled: There will be an “unveiling” of the new "Entrepreneurial" database that the group is currently populating as part of its first “special initiative.” [I would encourage you to go to the UAEDI website (http://uaedi.cast.uark.edu) and click on “UAEDI Databases” at the bottom of the page to be included on these databases or in the UA Capabilities Database. Cristina Scarlat (cscarla@uark.edu, 479-575-2692) is the contact should you have any questions or difficulty with the databases.]

2. Identifying Special Initiatives: Most of the discussion will be in identifying one or more UAEDI Special Initiatives to address the issue at hand and then identifying those interested in working together for that purpose. This is a chance to promote an outstanding idea that you may have and begin to assemble a group, both on and off campus, to work towards getting the resources needed for implementation.

3. Special Initiative “Champions”: Each Special Initiative is going to need one or more “champions” to lead the effort. UAEDI staff will assist each Initiative as much as possible in reaching its goals including help with identifying possible funding sources and partners.
